Have you ever accidentally deleted a blog post? If you have you know how frustrating it can be. Especially, if it is a blog post that was popular with your readers. There is no need to go into panic mode. You can immediately go get it and copy and paste it right back into your blog. Triberr can help you do this. If you are not a member of Triberr I suggest you become one. It keeps all of your blog post in your, "My Posts" stream. This way you can retrieve and share them whenever you want to.

When you login to your Triberr account you will automatically see your stream. At the top you will see, "New Posts" click the downward arrow. Then you will see, "My Posts" click that and all of your blog post will come up. As you can see below in the picture of all of my previous blog posts that were written.

Now, if your blog post has been deleted you won't be able to click the url from your blog post to retrieve it. What you will have to do is click the arrow in the right corner of the square of your blog post in your Triberr My Post stream. Then, you will see, "Edit Post". Below it takes you to edit your blog post in your, "My Posts" stream. Below you are now in the edit format and can edit your blog post.

Instead of editing it you will retrieve your blog post by copying and pasting it into a new blog post. This is how you retrieve your blog post if you accidentally delete it. This is wonderful. This has saved me on numerous occasions. I had tried to retrieve my old blog post from other sources but it would only give me a certain amount. They were not saved like they are in Triberr in their own personal stream.

So, the next time you accidentally delete it do not panic. Go straight to Triberr and retrieve it. If you found this to be helpful please share.

With so much information coming at us these days it can be hard to digest it all. You read blog posts, news articles, forum posts and social media comments. That's not counting the books and magazines that you read daily. It can be quite overwhelming at times. However, I do think that you should take time to read anything that you attend to share on social media.

How do I know that people aren't reading what they share on their social media accounts? The reason that I know this is; I was letting someone guest post on my blog and I left it open so that they could post the content (You can do that with Ucoz). I had to eventually close it because someone else posted to my blog because I left it open (which was totally my fault). I was still upset though. Instead of a blog post they wrote two spam comments. Because I am a member of Triberr my blog posts stream from there when I write a new blog post. I noticed people had shared it. I was kind of disappointed because I did not want that shared. So, I knew that people couldn't have read it.

It is very important to read anything you attend to share on your social media accounts. You want to give your followers the best content and how can you be sure of that if you aren't reading it yourself? Just like in my case a mistake was made and people shared that mistake all over social media. Of course, I went back and deleted it but it shouldn't have been shared in the first place. I was hoping people would see that it was a mistake.

So, if you don't have time to read a blog post you can bookmark it or put it in your pocket. I like Get Pocket because you can read your content with all of your technological devices and it doesn't matter if you are not on your home computer.

This is a guest post by Manidipa Bhaumik. Please show her some love by commenting and sharing. Thank you!

Social media marketing or SMM is one of the best way for increasing brand awareness and driving huge traffic in the current market. And, we all know that traffic means MONEY. But it is really challenging for a small business owner or a new start-up to drive traffic to their website. Social networks like Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Flickr, Youtube are some great sources of getting targeted traffic.
But do you know that there are some etiquettes or best practices which you must adopt to get the most out of your social promotions?
Social networking sites are all about user engagement and sharing useful content in the right platform. So you need to pick up the right site for your social media campaigns. Also you must structure your social media practices for your online success.

Social Media Do’s and Don’ts

1. Understand which Works Best & Prioritize the Networks

Every now and then, a new social media is budding up. But it is not at all a good idea to try each and every social network that you just discover. Rather try to concentrate your marketing efforts on the top social media sites like — Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and LinkedIn.

But then again, just because your competitor is doing well in one social platform does not mean that you can also achieve result from that. Try to find the social networking platforms that will work best for your business.
For example, Facebook and Pinterest are a great option if you want to drive traffic. Whereas, Google+ can help you to boost your SEO (according to Social Media Today). So decide on the network as per your business need.

2. Complete Your Social Media Profiles

If you are into serious business, it must be demonstrated in your social profiles too. Choose a social handle, which will be identifiable with your brand. Use your professional logo or avatar to
make it look authentic. Also take some time to fill out your ‘About’ section. People find it more trustworthy, then an incomplete profile description.

3.Prepare a Checklists

You may think, social media promotion means just login to Facebook or Twitter account, type a post and click on submit. Isn’t it that simple?
No, it is not.

Checklists are always handy to make your job easy and organized. Take a notepad and make a checklist of things like whether your message is understandable, is it shareable, whether the links are working or not, if any typo or grammatical errors are there etc.

Decide a time frame which will be best suitable as per the time zone of people you are targeting. Also optimize the post/ tweet for maximum effect. Like in case of Twitter, only 140 char are allowed per tweet. So you need to choose the best words.

4. Know your Target Customers

To be successful in social media marketing, you must understand your consumer base. It is definitely not about what you think and what you want to share. So provide helpful content and share posts which they will find interesting and useful. Tailor your social media pages as per your consumers’ interest as a part of your online promotion techniques.

5. Engage With Your Audience

Interacting with your customers is a vital social media strategy. It is part of your customer service. If you are not interacting with your followers, then they might feel that you don't care about their queries and issues. And gradually they will also feel little or no concern about what you are sharing with them.
You may definitely ignore the irrelevant comments. But do not delete the negative comments, as this will give you a chance to let your users know how you handle an adverse situation.

6. Be Active but do not Spam

To keep your brand active, you must share useful posts and updates in a regular interval. But also be aware that nobody likes spam. So don't post the same information repeatedly or post very often that your social followers find it boring or swamping. This may further lead to loosing some of your hard earned followers.

7. Consistency across all Social Media

When you are working with multiple social networking site, there is a high chance that you will loose uniformity. You must establish a clear idea before setting up the different social accounts.

Some basic steps like using the same business name, profile picture, background image etc. can help you a lot for keeping your brand identity. Also make sure that your message is identical across the different networks.

Also I would suggest that as soon as you decide on your brand name, go to your preferred social media site and register your social name. Because it may not be available by the time you think to set up your blog or website first and then establish your social profile.

Social media sites are meant to become social and develop relationships. So try to add your personal touch into your updates and comments. To be a successful social media marketer, you must understand the emotions of your customers and share information based on their likings.

Social networking sites are constantly evolving to provide the best user experience. So try to remain up to date about the new and future changes to keep your marketing efforts effective.
Hope you will find the article helpful. Also you might have learned some other Social Media do’s and don’ts during your time of using the different social networking sites for business. Please feel free to share your experiences in the comments below.

If you have a blog you know how coming up with content on a regular basis can be challenging at times. Sometimes you are on a roll and other times it seems like the roll has gotten stuck in a ditch and you cannot get it out. Not only do you have to come up with content for your own blog you have to come up with content for other writing platforms and for other blogs if you do guest posts.

How are you supposed to write for all of these places and why should you write for other places than your own blog anyway? Because you need the exposure. You need people to find you. When you write at other places people get to know you and your writing and if they like what you are writing they will come to your blog. This is how you get exposure because, if people do not know about you they cannot read what you are writing. You have to get yourself out there to the people.

Don't get me wrong this can be hard sometimes to do because, who doesn't want to keep all of their content for their own blog. The dilemma you will have is, "Should I Keep This For My Blog?" Generally, you want to keep the best for your blog and who wouldn't want to do that? However, sometimes we have to make sacrifices for the bigger picture. There really is no losing because, if you succeed in your goal which is for people to find your blog. You are winning.

The problem you are probably having is how can I come up with content for your own blog and other places where you are writing. This is not hard if you know how to do it. I know some people just post the same content they have on their blog at other places but you don't want to do this. You want to give people something fresh to read besides, it doesn't look good posting the same content over and over at different places. It kind of looks like spam which is not something you want to be associated with.

I'm going to give you an example. I wrote a blog post for this blog called,"Home-based business: How To Join The Perfect One For You". I wrote a press release which really is like a blog post for Ibotoolbox marketing platform and social network called "What Kind Of Business Should I Join?" The two coincide with each other. The first blog post tells you how to find the perfect home-based business and the second addresses the question what kind of business should you join. Do you see how I did that?

The first tells you how to find a home-based business that is perfect for you and the second tells you what kind of business you should join. So, you have two different blog posts solving two different problems. You can do this to help you come up with content for your blog and other places that you are writing for.

This is a way that will help you come up with content for the many places you are writing for. Keeping the content fresh for people who like to read what you are writing.

Do you struggle with writing content for your blog and other writing platforms? Do you think this will help you? If you don't have problems what are you doing to keep fresh content coming for your readers. Please share in the comments below. Sharing is caring.

We all like to save money whether you are shopping for: clothes, food, or household goods you like a good deal. So, it's no different with our internet marketing business. You can still do business without going bankrupt. It doesn't matter if you are a beginner or novice. Today, I will share somethings you can do to save some money. It helps because many times it takes money to make money. Usually, what happens is you take the money you are making and put it back into your business.

Things can be a little difficult in the beginning but as you continue along in your business things start to get easier. Being broke is never easy and running a business can really add up sometimes. In the beginning you might be spending more money than you are actually making. I know you can relate to this situation. This card will help keep your spending in check and you can also make money too. So, you are not going over your budget and you are making money at the same time. When you refer someone you get $20.00 put on your card. You can also send money as well.

Advertising is something that we want to save lots of money doing because it is most needed when it comes to marketing online. This is something that we have to do every single day. So, it makes sense if we can do this without breaking our bank accounts. Plus, with these advertising sites I am mentioning you can also make money as well. Who doesn't want to advertise and make money at the same time? One site you can advertise for free and get an upgrade. The other one is low-price. I would encourage you to upgrade because you will get more benefits. Here are two advertising sites you can advertise and make money:

We need to shop for our businesses too! There are things that we need to get to help our business run smoothly. Whether it is pens, paper, microphone, or a camera. You can save money by using discount shopping sites. I'm telling you do not make a purchase without them. This will greatly save you lots of money on items you need for your business. Saving money is the name of the game.

Lastly, but not least you can subscribe to Website's Magazine for free. This is a great magazine to help you stay on top of what's happening in the online world. You get excellent tips and advice on internet marketing coming straight to your inbox or mailbox. Whichever, you choose.

Although, an internet business is way cheaper than running an on-site business it still takes money. It's always nice to know that we can save a little bit of money while we are running our businesses. I hope that you found this to be helpful and if you did. Please pass this information on by sharing it. Thanks in advance!

The number one thing that we as bloggers continue to ask ourselves is,"How can we communicate with our audience better? What can we do better to make this happen?" Having a chat on your blog is a great way to better communicate with your readers. Who doesn't like to have a question answered right then and there? Versus having to wait 24 hours or a day or two to. It's on site communication right there and right now.

It's also a way to bring the conversation right at your door-step. You can even hosts chats right on your blog instead, of figuring where you will have it at. This will be very convenient for you and your audience. You won't have to figure out a place to have it and they will know exactly where to come. This will cut down on confusion and time restraints. I will now mention 4 live chats that will allow you to do this below:

Has a live chat button you can put right on your blog or website. It lets your audience know when you are online to chat. This is listed in their suite of tools you can use.

You can drop their one-inline install code into your site or app to to enable real-time social interaction. You can hosts chats right on your site. It's simple and easy.

With Mylivechat you can engage your audience helping you to get more leads. Once installed you will see a popup asking your reader would they like to chat. A nice an unobtrusive way of communicating with your visitor. It also lets you know what page they are on so you can start chatting with them.

With Customer 360 you can do video chats and can be enabled to interact with your customers through the mobile app. You can also do screen share for quicker support.

I have given you 4 live chats to make it easy for you to communicate with your audience. This is another way to find out what your audience wants so that you can provide the content that they want to read. Did you think that I was going to share this information and not implement it myself? Of course not. I have just added a chat on my site as well.

The name of the game is being able to help our audience as best as we can. This is a great way to do so. Happy chatting!

I think it's nice to have a community on your blog. Even if you allow comments. That's good too. However, I think you should have a place for people to be able to go to. Such as a Google+ Community, Facebook Group or your own personal forum. This is a place where people can gather and let down their hair. Here are some reasons I think it is important:

  1.  You can connect with people
  2.   Ask questions
  3. Share what you know
  4. Help people
  5. Meet people
  6. Learn new things
  7. Make friends
  8. Answer questions

Your blog is a place where you are sharing what you know. I think everyone should have a place where people can go and learn more. A community helps you do this. Having a place where people can just talk is very important. You can learn so much just from people asking and answering questions. You don't have to be an expert to have a community so don't feel like you do. A community is for everyone. You won't have to answer all the questions either. If someone has the answer or a better idea let them answer.

This way everyone will feel like a part of the community. Everyone helping each other. I have learned so much just by participating in forums. There are always new things coming up concerning blogging and internet marketing. It's nice to be able to have one place that you can go to. That's why I started The Money To Be Made Community. Because I am not only a blogger but an internet marketer. I wanted to share things that has to do with those two subjects. I know some people just focus on blogging but I am doing both. So, I wanted to share somethings that pertain to both.

The bigger your audience gets its important for you to build a community. If you haven't started a community yet. I suggest you do. This is a great opportunity to get to know your readers better. Join The Money To Be Made Community I would love to have you!

Google analytics can be confusing. That's why I utilize other analytic tools. To me, they are simpler. I liked the way it was before Google changed it. Once they changed it, it became complicated. I still pop in from time to time but I admit I don't check it as much as I probably should. I check the other ones I use instead often. It's important to know the analytics of my blog/website. I need to know the who (visited), what (they looked at), when (they looked), where ( they came from) of my site.  I love simplicity but who doesn't?

I have found the perfect tool. Quill Engage helps you analyze your Google Analytics report by sending you reports of your sites data to your inbox. The report includes: KPis, sessions, page views and bounce rates. It helps you to understand your websites performance with in-depth analysis on referral traffic, goals and conversions, events, e-commerce and Adwords. Everything is laid out for you in an easy-to-read format. Your report will come weekly and monthly. You will see how your site is progressing week to week and month to month.

Below are my weekly and monthly reports.

I can see what I need to work on to increase the time and page views on my site but decrease my bounce rate. This month hasn't been good so far. Last month seems to have done really well. It is still early in this month so I have time to work hard so I can achieve better results than last. I really like how it breaks everything down for you. I actually enjoy reading these reports. It makes you really want to do better than the previous month. This is just what I needed.

I have seen a lot of analytic tools but these reports are like no other. They are so thorough. It is free for 1 Google Analytic review for 3 Google Analytic reviews it is $19.99 a month and for 10 Google Anaytic reviews it is $99.00 a year. Additional views can be added for $4.00 per view.

If you haven't enjoyed Google Analytics lately like myself. You will now see it with fresh eyes with the Quill Engage reports. If you haven't been really understanding your Google Analytics now you will understand everything from A to Z. Start using Quill Engage to decipher your Google Analytics.

We are coming to the end of 2015. However, I think it is important no matter what year it is to achieve your goals. If you haven't achieved them then, you keep working at it until you do. It can be hard to stay focused on them sometimes. Life can be pretty busy and sometimes things don't go as we have planned. Our goals get set to the side or even forgotten. Our emotions go up and down as if they are on a roller-coaster ride. Fear can set in to. What if we don't achieve our goals? This is something that can plague the best of us.

The key is to stay focused on them. How many of us have wrote them down only to have forgotten them. We cannot forget what we want to achieve. If we do, they will be like dreams that were once in our memories only to vanish because we didn't pay attention to them anymore. We shouldn't forget our goals. Why? Because they are too important. These are things that we can do if we set our minds to it. It's never to late to get started. Find those list of goals and start working on them so you can start checking them off the list. There is no need to wait for a new year to get started. Do not wait get started today.

In the blog post,"How To Be Positive Even When You Think You Can't" Remember I told you that the book,"Write It Down Make It Happen" was on my list of books to get. Well, I got it. I am so happy. Because this was a goal and I was able to achieve it. Yes, it is a small goal but that doesn't matter. The important thing is I set a goal and I achieved it. In fact,  I am reading it right now. I am on page 92. This book is helping me with achieving my goals. It has so many inspiring stories and it also shows you how you can do the same by writing your goals down no matter what they may be. That's what I really like about it.

I know that sometimes we set time limits on our goals. That is okay to do, but don't get discouraged if you don't achieve it by that time. Just set a new time limit and go from there. Don't write your goals down and set them to the side. Look at them often. If you can at least once before you go to bed. This way you won't forget about them. I believe this is the number one reason why we don't always achieve them. It is because we have wrote them down and have forgotten all about them. Also, you must have some patience as well. The things we want are really worth waiting for. At least, I think so. I think because we are always so hasty a lot of the times we settle for things that we know deep down in our hearts are not good for us. That's why somethings that we don't get are really a blessing in disguise.

For me goals aren't just about material things. It's about being a better person as well. You can set goals to be more patient. Not to get angry over stupid stuff. To do less complaining. To be more appreciative. To be less judgmental. It's nice to see how you are evolving as a person.  Improving oneself also helps us to achieve the goals that we want. Of course it's a lot of work and it is continual but it is so worth it. Don't you think so?

I have added another thing to my list which I think will aid me in being more focused on my goals. It is the The Clever Fox Planner.
Actually, this will be my first planner. I have never used one before but I believe it will help keep the structure and the focus I need to help me better accomplish my goals.

Don't know what goals you want to achieve lets make a list of some now:

  1.  To be a better blogger
  2.  To get more traffic to your blog
  3.  To come up with more content to write
  4.  To grow your community
  5.  To write blog posts in less time
  6.  To have more fun blogging
  7.  To take your blog to the next level
  8.  To get started blogging if you haven't already
  9.  To eat healthier
  10.  To be more focused
  11.  To be more consistent

Working towards our goals gives us something to look forward to. Also, to focus on. Many times we are so focused on things that we are unhappy about that we don't focus on the things that we are happy about. Then, we wonder why we are attracting things that we don't like. Focus on your goals. The things that you want to be doing and God-willing you will be doing.

So, remember no matter what year it is it's never to late to achieve your goals. Find and dust that old list of goals you have written and start checking them off that list. What goals would you like to achieve? What goals have you already achieved? Share them with me in the comments below. May all your goals come true!
