Everyone wants to work from home but how can you do it successfully? Working from home is supposed to be better than working outside the home. Mainly, because you don't have to leave home and you can set your own hours. Not having to fight traffic every morning and worrying about being late. These are great benefits right there. Just because you are working from home doesn't mean that you are not working. Don't get it confused.
I know that since you are working from home and no one is seeing you that it doesn't really matter what you are wearing. However, I think it is better to still get dressed. You can still be comfortable but put some clothes on and don't stay in your pajamas. The reason being is you want to be productive and sometimes when you are in your pajamas you tend to get lazy. It sets the tone that you are getting ready for bed. Which in fact, that is the opposite of what you are doing.
So get up shower and get dressed. Do everything that you would do if you are going out to work. The only difference is you now have more time to do it. Have a good breakfast. After that start your day. You can have a designated place to do your work. Such as a home office. If you have children or have company then this would be ideal. However, if you live alone or your children or in school it's nothing wrong with doing your work outside your home office. It can be relaxing to have a change of scenery. Having an adjustable, portable laptop table is great for your work days that you do your work outside of your home office.
It's also a great idea to let people know your work times. Especially, your friends and family. Many people feel that just because you work from home means you have a lot of free time and they assume that you aren't really working (which is so far from the truth). This will help you stay more focused and get more work done and have less interruptions. Be nice but firm. Not answering the phone or texting during your work times (unless it is extremely important) is a good idea.
Having a schedule is really great for working from home. Set your own hours. Whether it is early in the morning (I think this is the best time to work) afternoon, or evening. Whichever, is best for you. Stay consistent with your schedule. It can be tempting to veer off but stay steadfast. You will see improvement in your work and you will get things done. This is why many people don't work from home successfully, because they believe working from home means not working. You are working. You are just working from home. Many people can't separate the two. Don't be one of these people.
Take a lunch break. Eat lunch. Take a little walk or stretch your legs. As I said before the benefit of working from home is you don't have to rush. So, take your time.
Working from home is fun. Who wouldn't want to work from home? If done correctly it can be a benefit for you and your family. Do you work from home? Or are you considering it? Let me know in the comments below. I hope these tips will benefit you and help you work from home successfully.
We are coming into the shopping frenzy months. This is the time of year people do a lot of shopping. It is also the time of year that crime is at an all time high. The most easiest crime to commit is online. This is where someone can steal your identity. This is very scary and if someone has stolen your identity you know what a mess it can cause. It also can take years to get it back. So, it's best to prevent this from happening the best way that you can. Doing business online is a convenience and you shouldn't be afraid to do your shopping or anything else that you do online. Here are some ways that you can protect yourself.
Always make sure to look at your bill carefully. This will help you know if there are some purchases on your account that you didn't make. If you see any purchases that are not from you immediately take action. Do not delay one second. This way you can nip it in the bud before it gets any worse.
Shred anything with your name on it. Catalogs, old bills, old credit cards, magazines or any kind of junk mail. If it has your name on it make sure it's shredded. This way thieves cannot get a hold of your name and use it for criminal purposes.
Do not share too much information online. You don't have to fill out all the details on different forums and your social media accounts. Such as your birthday, your mother's maiden name, where you were born or who your spouse is, etc. It's easy to pretend to be you when have given someone all the information that need to know about you.
Don't respond to email solicitors. Many times these are people with foul intentions. If you get a bunch of spam just delete it and do not ever give out any personal information. No business would ever ask you for any personal information in an email. Also, don't click on any shady looking links. If you're not sure what it is and who it is from. Just delete it. It's better safe than sorry. Many times they could contain viruses and spyware.
Have virus protection installed on your computer. There are many kinds you can get. Mcafee, Norton, Avg are just a few you can purchase for your computer. They cover the basics such as your email, web browsers and also when you visit different websites.
Avoid shopping at shady looking websites. If they don't have any kind of way that you can contact them. That is definitely a red flag. Don't use too many credit cards when you are shopping. Have a designated one you use. This way if someone does make unauthorized purchases on it you can easily pin point which one it is. Remember, time is of the essence when someone gets a hold of your credit card information.
Make sure that you use different passwords for different sites online. Never use the same password especially for any bank or credit card account. Use letters, numbers, symbols, capitol and lower case letters.
Your identity belongs to you and you do not deserve to have it stolen. Thieves do not have the right to steal it and ruin your good name and credit. Plus, just make life miserable for you. While they get to spend the hard earned money that you have spent your entire life saving. Why become a victim of identity theft when you can protect yourself? Click Here to see how you can get more protection for yourself from these cyber criminals.
You can have fun and be safe online. You shouldn't have to worry about your identity being stolen and now you don't have to. Take care of your business, surf and shop online with security.
Have you ever accidentally deleted a blog post? If you have you know how frustrating it can be. Especially, if it is a blog post that was popular with your readers. There is no need to go into panic mode. You can immediately go get it and copy and paste it right back into your blog. Triberr can help you do this. If you are not a member of Triberr I suggest you become one. It keeps all of your blog post in your, "My Posts" stream. This way you can retrieve and share them whenever you want to.
When you login to your Triberr account you will automatically see your stream. At the top you will see, "New Posts" click the downward arrow. Then you will see, "My Posts" click that and all of your blog post will come up. As you can see below in the picture of all of my previous blog posts that were written.
Now, if your blog post has been deleted you won't be able to click the url from your blog post to retrieve it. What you will have to do is click the arrow in the right corner of the square of your blog post in your Triberr My Post stream. Then, you will see, "Edit Post". Below it takes you to edit your blog post in your, "My Posts" stream. Below you are now in the edit format and can edit your blog post.
Instead of editing it you will retrieve your blog post by copying and pasting it into a new blog post. This is how you retrieve your blog post if you accidentally delete it. This is wonderful. This has saved me on numerous occasions. I had tried to retrieve my old blog post from other sources but it would only give me a certain amount. They were not saved like they are in Triberr in their own personal stream.
So, the next time you accidentally delete it do not panic. Go straight to Triberr and retrieve it. If you found this to be helpful please share.

If you have a blog you know how coming up with content on a regular basis can be challenging at times. Sometimes you are on a roll and other times it seems like the roll has gotten stuck in a ditch and you cannot get it out. Not only do you have to come up with content for your own blog you have to come up with content for other writing platforms and for other blogs if you do guest posts.
How are you supposed to write for all of these places and why should you write for other places than your own blog anyway? Because you need the exposure. You need people to find you. When you write at other places people get to know you and your writing and if they like what you are writing they will come to your blog. This is how you get exposure because, if people do not know about you they cannot read what you are writing. You have to get yourself out there to the people.
Don't get me wrong this can be hard sometimes to do because, who doesn't want to keep all of their content for their own blog. The dilemma you will have is, "Should I Keep This For My Blog?" Generally, you want to keep the best for your blog and who wouldn't want to do that? However, sometimes we have to make sacrifices for the bigger picture. There really is no losing because, if you succeed in your goal which is for people to find your blog. You are winning.
The problem you are probably having is how can I come up with content for your own blog and other places where you are writing. This is not hard if you know how to do it. I know some people just post the same content they have on their blog at other places but you don't want to do this. You want to give people something fresh to read besides, it doesn't look good posting the same content over and over at different places. It kind of looks like spam which is not something you want to be associated with.
I'm going to give you an example. I wrote a blog post for this blog called,"Home-based business: How To Join The Perfect One For You". I wrote a press release which really is like a blog post for Ibotoolbox marketing platform and social network called "What Kind Of Business Should I Join?" The two coincide with each other. The first blog post tells you how to find the perfect home-based business and the second addresses the question what kind of business should you join. Do you see how I did that?
The first tells you how to find a home-based business that is perfect for you and the second tells you what kind of business you should join. So, you have two different blog posts solving two different problems. You can do this to help you come up with content for your blog and other places that you are writing for.
This is a way that will help you come up with content for the many places you are writing for. Keeping the content fresh for people who like to read what you are writing.
Do you struggle with writing content for your blog and other writing platforms? Do you think this will help you? If you don't have problems what are you doing to keep fresh content coming for your readers. Please share in the comments below. Sharing is caring.
