As we all know blogging isn't just about writing. It's way more it to it than that. After you publish you're blog post you have to get traffic to it. That's where the challenge is. It wasn't long ago that all you had to do was write a blog post. However, those days are long gone. There are so many things that you need to do and it doesn't matter what kind of niche that you are in. The same rules apply.
If you're a blogger it is very important that you learn internet marketing. Why? Because you will be marketing on the internet. Bloggers are usually, internet marketers, network marketers and affiliate marketers all rolled up in one. They are usually promoting something else other than just writing for their blogs. The blog is usually the home front for other businesses.
If you do not know anything about internet marketing then, it will be hard for you to be successful with your blog. Traffic, social media, seo are all things that you need to know about when you are blogging. I know some people think that if they are not in the internet marketing niche then they don't have to worry about internet marketing. Yes, you do because all the fundamentals of internet marketing come into play when you are blogging.
I remember when I first started my natural health blog. I was looking all over trying to find information about how to get traffic to it. That's one of the reasons, I started this blog. The more I learned the more it led me to internet marketing. I knew I had to learn internet marketing if my blog was to have any kind of chance of being successful.
You're blog cannot and will not be successful if you do not learn internet marketing. So, how do you learn about internet marketing. You can read internet marketing blogs. Visit and participate in internet marketing groups and some blogging groups and communities. Also, read "Subscribing To Website Magazine Is Extremely Important To Your Web Success." This is extremely vital for the newbie but it is also vital for the veteran blogger to stay updated as well.
I like to say that all bloggers are internet marketers even though all internet marketers are not bloggers. If you are new to internet marketing you can also start with reading this blog and even if you are not new it will help you to stay updated.
Do you consider yourself to be a blogger/internet marketer or you never really thought about it? Did you find this blog post to be helpful? If so please share it. Thanks in advance!

Do you feel like that promoting online is taking up all of your time? Are you tired of not having time to do anything else? Do you feel exhausted when you get off the computer? Don't get me wrong promoting is a lot of work but it is only one piece of the puzzle. We have so many other things that we have to do to. Yes, we must get the word out about our blogs, websites or affiliate programs and anything else we are promoting. However, it shouldn't be taking up all our time online.
So, what can you do to help you with this problem? I know you are thinking that I must advertise because if I don't know one will know about my site. That is definitely true. However, there are ways you can promote and it won't take up all of your online time. Sometimes in trying to achieve somethings we can become overly obsessive. This is not helping our situation it can even cause us to not achieve our goals because the negative feelings will start to set in. This is what we don't want to happen.
Fix certain days or hours to do your promoting. Say, you started promoting at 9:00 a.m. in the morning and you finished at 10:00. You still have time to do other things that you need to do online. I know some people promote everyday. If you do promote everyday make sure you have a certain time that you do it. This will stop you from feeling overwhelmed and you will have time to do all the other things that you want to do online. This is so important because doing one thing should not be taking up all your online time.
If you use online advertising sites you may want to track your results to see where your traffic is coming from. If you use Google analytics that is good but that is only good for the traffic that is coming to your website. If you use online advertising sites tracking will help you know if a particular program you are advertising is getting hits or results. You may want to try Affiliate Notepad it can help you with that.
Designating the days and hours is also helpful when you are doing other things such as participating in communities or groups too. Especially, if you are in a lot of them. This way, you will be able to take your time and really be able to help other people without feeling rushed. I do this myself and it really helps because I used to be all over the place and I wasn't getting much done before I started designating my days and hours.
I know if you have a blog, twitter account, facebook fan page and you are probably promoting different affiliate programs too. You want to kill two birds with one stone. My Viral Affiliate Site is a great way to do that. You can promote your blog, twitter account and facebook fan page all at the same time. Instead of promoting separately. This is a great way to save time with your advertising. You can just promote your My Viral Affiliate Site with one link. It makes advertising so much easier!
Being organized online is extremely important so that we can manage our time wisely. This way we can get everything that we need to do online done in a timely fashion. Let's face it! We have a lot to do online and we have to make sure that it gets done but it shouldn't come with the cost of us losing our sanity.
P.S. I hope that you found this helpful. If you did. Please share! Thanks in advance!

The Introvert...

You would think that internet marketing would be the ideal business for an introvert. After all, you are doing everything behind a computer but with technology moving at the fast pace it is it is definitely becoming more personal. You don't have to actually be there to be there. With videos, Google hangouts, smart phones and Skype you can have more face time than ever. This can be somewhat uncomfortable for an introvert as they like their quiet time and privacy. A little goes a long way for an introvert. However, at the same time you do want to be accessible to your readers and your customers. You want them to feel comfortable but you don't want to be uncomfortable. You want the best of both worlds for them and for you.
You also want to be yourself too. You don't want to be pretending to be someone that you aren't. People can smell someone being fake a mile away. Plus, it's exhausting to keep up a fake persona on a daily basis. It's nothing wrong with being an introvert just like there is nothing wrong with being an extrovert. So, just be you! It's better that way. People are reading your blog or joining you in business adventures because they like you and want to hear what you have to say. I do think sometimes that introverts are perceived as if something is wrong with them. Just because someone is quiet or doesn't like to be in huge crowds doesn't mean something is wrong with them. For some, this is how they like it and it's nothing wrong with that.
As internet marketers or bloggers we have to continually get the word out about our blog or any programs that we are promoting. Even though we do the majority of our business online we still have to communicate with people. Sometimes, being introverts you like to keep things on a small scale. I don't think that is something you should try to control at least until you get a substantial amount of readers or customers. Because internet marketing is largely a numbers game. You have to constantly keep bringing in people to your blog/business. This brings me to the question,"Do You Feel That Being An Introvert Is A Problem?" If you do, you shouldn't. There is nothing wrong with being an introvert. Probably, if you do feel this way is because some of the questions people ask you sometimes make it seem like it is.
In fact, I do believe that internet marketing is a great business for introverts. You can choose which marketing methods you would like to use and how you would like to use them. You can use what is best for you. That means you can cater your business to be more in tune with your personality. Social media makes it easy for you to talk to a large audience and communicate and build relationships online. I also believe that introverts possess a lot of qualities that makes them good at internet marketing. I will list some below:
Good listeners - Because introverts are good listeners they pay attention to you and are focused on helping you.
Honest - Because they don't sugar coat things they will be more likely to tell you what you need to hear instead of what you want to hear.
Patient - Introverts are not in a hurry a lot of times they don't mind waiting and taking time to answer questions appropriately.
Deep Thinkers - They think about the problems or solutions beforehand thus, helping to make good business decisions.
Good Writers - Introverts usually express themselves better in writing which is really good for internet marketing if you have a blog or write ads.
Serious - When it's time to get down to business introverts are ready to get the job done and are persistent in doing so.
I think sometimes as introverts people sometimes automatically feel that people might not like them because of their personality. That's when the positive thinking comes in handy. You must think good about yourself in order for you to be successful. People can feel if you are fearful or if you really don't want to talk to them. Even though, we are online our personality still shines through. So, it's safe to say there is really no hiding behind a computer. No, they can't see you but your words are just as clear.
With internet marketing you can take breaks if you need to so, if you need to recharge it's no problem. You are in the comfort of your own home. Plus, you can really take your time to get to know people. It's no rush. You can start out emailing, then talking on social media or instant messaging. Then, if you want to you can talk on the phone. It's not something you have to do if you don't want to but it's always an option. This is really great for introverts. You can use whatever communicative channel is right for you.
We are selling whether we want to be or not. It's all in the same category. Many times you might not think that you are good internet marketers or can be for that matter because of your personality. You might be struggling in that regard. In that case you will find this book," Successful Selling For Introverts" by Thomas Murphy extremely helpful. Me, being an introvert myself I found it to be a great read and extremely helpful. It helps you to utilize your best introvert traits and get them to help you be successful in your business. The book also contains valuable checklists and selling tips to help you find what introvert traits that you can use in your business. Grab a copy and start making your introvert skills work for you!
You don't have to feel like being an introvert is holding you back in your business. As you can see it's the complete opposite. Being an introvert has so many benefits. So, don't try to be anyone else. Just be you!

Social Media...

We all know that social media is a great way to share what we like. After all, these are places that we are in control of and we can share what we like. Are we sharing only the things that we like? You might say that's what we are supposed to do. People follow us because they are interested in what we have to say. Yes, that is true. However, there is always more than one point of view in all things. Just because we are not interested in it doesn't mean it's not good or interesting. If you are guilty of this maybe, you have a reason. It just might be that you don't know anything else about a particular subject. It's just that you like to share things that you know really well and don't like to share things you don't. I think we have all been guilty of this at one time or another.
It could also be that you are being cautious. You think that you're followers wouldn't be interested in anything that is new or that they haven't heard of before. They don't know anyone else that is using that particular tool or haven't read about it anywhere they wouldn't be interested in you sharing it with them. Know one wants to share things that people are not interested in or deem to be boring or unhelpful. Maybe, you fear that people will start stop following you if are not sharing what everyone else is sharing. The question is,"Are you boring your followers?" How many times where you go to people's social media accounts and all you see is them sharing their blog posts? I mean, that's all you see and nothing else. It's true that you do share what you want people to see and know about. However, that is a turn-off because if they are already subscribed to your blog they probably already have read your blog posts. You can say but I have people who may not be subscribed to my blog. Yes, you should share your blog posts. I'm not telling you not to share them but that shouldn't be the only thing that you should share.
Do you like to read only people's blog posts when you visit their social media accounts? If you are following someone do you enjoy only reading them and nothing else? Of course not. People like variety (I know I do). Do you share only what you are interested in and nothing else? I don't have accounts on all the social media sites. However, just because I don't have accounts on certain ones doesn't mean I can't share information about them. Maybe someone who follows me would like to know more information about them. It is easy to get caught up in sharing about one thing. Why? Because it's quicker and you can move on to doing other things that you have to do. How many times have you told yourself," I've done my sharing on social media today. Now, it's time to get other things done." Don't deny this. (LOL) You know you have. What am I talking about. I know I have. Just because it's easier and quicker doesn't make it the right thing to do and it becomes a chore and you know when something becomes a chore the less enjoyable it becomes.
Your motto should be,"If you like it share it and even if you don't use it share it anyway because someone who is following you might". Continue sharing things you like but switch it up. I'm not telling you to go off topic but there are so many things that you can share within your topic that won't bore the pants off of your followers. The same thing over and over can really get boring fast and that includes your blog posts. You are probably thinking. Who could get tired of my blog posts? Especially when they are streaming automatically on all of my social media accounts. (LOL) Don't think you're blog posts are boring people day in and day out. Just ask your followers. I didn't think so. That's just too embarrassing.
So, what should you share on social media? There's news, humor, other bloggers blog posts, food, health, articles, quotes, accomplishments, alerts, products, tools you use, technology, things you like and even don't like.
I just took a quiz called,"What Social Network Are You?" Can you guess which one I am? Okay, I will tell you. I'm Pinterest! I thought it would be fun if you take it too. Take it and then share it on your social media accounts. This is something that you can share and it's fun! After you take the quiz. Leave a comment telling me which social network you are!
Click on image to take the quiz.
P.S. Don't forget to share this blog post!

Have you ever found yourself saying to yourself, "I don't have everything I need to get started?" I think we have all said that at one time or another but has it been true? Maybe, things weren't exactly like we wanted them to be but that still isn't any excuse not to get started. I mean, nothing is perfect and we can't wait until we think things are because we won't ever get started. Who really has all the tools and resources really? I know there is something that you aren't using but you would like to or maybe you just don't have the money right now. That is something that we all go through or might be still going through.
I know money can be the number one reason why you don't get started. Trust me, I can totally relate. However, that still is not a good reason not to get started on doing something that you really want to do. I know sometimes when you are looking up information so that you can learn more about how to get started and what you need to do so. You can hear things like. If you don't use xyz blogging platform or if you don't abc advertising options that you won't be successful so there is no reason why you should start. Bad things can happen no matter what we use or don't use. The company could go out of business or a hacker could hack into the system. These things can happen no matter what hosting company or blogging platform you decide to use. I don't think there is no real protection from any of these things. The good news is we just keep going no matter what. We don't let any of those things stop us. We tie our camel as best as we can and we keep it moving.
I want to talk more about the money issue because I know this is a big problem for a lot of people. I haven't conquered all of my money demons either. It's something that I am still working on. The biggest one for me is debt. Yup, I said it. I am in debt. So, just know that you are not alone in the battle of the money issues. This is a big dark ugly cloud that is over a lot of people's heads. Is it still a reason not to get started in your internet marketing endeavors? I must say the answer is a big, "NO". There are many things that you can use free or low cost. Maybe, you don't want to use anything free because you feel it's not professional or you don't want to be seen as a freebie seeker. Maybe, in your eyes you feel free is cheap. It's simply not true. There are many things that are free that are very professional. You can start out free and then upgrade later on. Many times you wouldn't even know it was free if you weren't told it was. I can understand not wanting to be viewed as a freebie seeker but you can start out free it doesn't have to be forever. That's what I have done with some of the internet marketing programs I am in. I started out free and then later upgraded. You can decide which ones you would like to do that with.
Another thing I wanted to stress is people might not think you are professional. I can understand that but I have seen people who are not using free resources of any kind and there site still wasn't professional. On the outside it was but on the inside it wasn't. The writing wasn't good and in some cases their attitude wasn't good. So, really what does not using free got to do with it? I'm just saying this should not be a reason why you haven't gotten started. Don't let money problems be a reason why you don't get started. After all, hopefully this will be only a temporary issue anyway. It's like learning as you go. You take it one day at a time. Step by step.
Ask yourself,"What do you need to get started?" You may want to write out a list. This will help you stay focused on what you really need to get started. Sometimes we have in our heads all of these things that we think we need to get started. When actually, we don't need half of these things. They are just excuses that we are using not to get started. Which are crippling us and stopping from achieving our dreams. So, grab that piece of paper and start writing out somethings that could be helpful in getting started.
Another thing you want to do is take the words, "I can't" or " I don't have" out of your vocabulary (I am really starting to hate those words). I know it's not easy but it has to be done. I'm still working to get them out of my vocabulary as well but as I always say, "They got to go!" These words are the culprit why you don't have or you think you can't. After all, the words that we speak on a regular basis becomes realities. Plus, when we continually say them you feel horrible (I know I do). Start saying, "I can" or "I have". How many times have you thought you didn't have something and you really did? How many times have you said you couldn't do something and you did it? Talk about you don't have everything you need to get started. Those words are something that you definitely don't need to get started.
Goal setting is also very important. Just because we may not be where we want to be now doesn't mean that we won't get there. So, set those goals! We should always work to improve our business. You may not have this or that now but you will get it. We are constantly climbing that ladder. Start from the bottom and work your way to the top. What don't you have but would like to have? Those things should be in your goal list. These are somethings that would make our business easier and run smoother.
We must be grateful for what we do have. Sometimes we are so focused on what we don't have that we miss the things that we do have. That's one thing I like about internet marketing. It doesn't take a whole lot to get started. Whereas, back in the day it did. Today, it doesn't. You have a computer and the internet. Those are just two things that you do have. It's not supposed to be complicated. Plus, there are so many other resources that you can use. (You should see my notebook I have written down so many it isn't even funny). You really have everything you need to get started. What you should fear is not getting started. This is the real elephant in the room.
What are the reasons that you haven't gotten started yet? Are there any in particular?

Lots of people are trying to start a business online. I don't blame them. Do you? If you can succeed with online marketing you can have the freedom you want to have. No more going to a job that you loathe day in and day out and getting paid pennies. No more people telling you what you can and cannot do. No more not having the time to do anything. Yeah, online marketing is definitely the way to go. Here are 7 reasons why it is the ideal business.
1. You can work from home.
There are so many benefits working from home. You don't have to worry about filling up a gas tank or getting caught in traffic. You can just get up bathe, brush teeth, eat breakfast and get to work. If someone needs you, you are there. And even if you don't bathe or brush your teeth no one would know. LOL
2. You can take a break when you need to.
If you feel that you have done a surmountable amount of work you can take a break. You don't have to worry about huffing down your lunch because your break will be over in 15 minutes. You can take a break whenever you need to and for how long you need to. If something comes up you can just take a break. No worries.
3. You set your own hours.
Maybe you work well early in the morning or late at night. You can set when you will work by making your own schedule. You don't have to worry about having to get the night shift and you know you will be terrible at it just because that was the schedule that was given to you. You can set your own hours and work when it is best for you.
4. You can connect with people worldwide.
The world is at your feet when you work online. You can get the opinions of people who live all over the world. You can make friends and chat with people no matter where in the world they live in. It's really a great feeling to be able to connect with people worldwide.
5. You can work anywhere.
You don't have to be stuck in an office all day if you don't want to. You can work anywhere you want to. In the car, outside on the porch, the backyard, at a friends or relatives house. As long as you have a computer and the internet your office can be anywhere you want it to be. No more thinking like,"I can't wait to get out of this office. You won't have to be in one in the first place.
6. Anyone can be a potential customer or client.
You don't know who is going to be interested in what you have to offer. I mean anyone. Having a blog or website gives you the ability to get your services or products out to lots of people. So, anyone could definitely become a customer or client. They don't have to leave their house to get your services so it's more convenient.
7. Multiple ways to earn online.
You can do internet marketing, blogging, freelance work, affiliate marketing, selling digital products, sell your own products and network marketing. The opportunities are vast. Or you could do all of them.
Online marketing sounds pretty good doesn't it? Are you doing online marketing? Would you like to? Why or why not?
|
You see them all over the internet people who go from one business to another. You swore to yourself that you would never become a network/internet marketing junkie. You found it just completely despicable that people keep contacting you about different network marketing companies or internet marketing programs. You're already in a business you think to yourself. What are these people's problems? Then, slowly but surely it happened to you.
You find yourself looking into different network marketing companies and internet marketing programs. I like that product, you think to yourself or I should get that internet marketing program. It really doesn't cost that much. I know I will make my money back. Then, off you go to various websites with credit card in hand. By this time you know you have a problem but what can you do to stop it. It's getting really ridiculous because you aren't really making any money yet you have joined these companies and you are on autoship programs and you have bought one internet marketing program one after the other. The bills are piling up but no money is coming in. You have completely lost your mind.
Does this sound like you or somebody you know? If this does all hope is not lost. There is a cure for this contagious disease. Here are some tips that you can use to help you steer clear and keep you from catching it all together.
You will always see something that you like. You can't join all of them. Before you join a company or buy a program make sure you research it really good. You may also look at other companies and programs. You can compare one with the other. Once you do that write down all the reasons why you like over the other. Then, make a decision and go with and stay with it. This will really help you, because when you do a full research it will help you from thinking I should of joined them or bought this. This is the mentality that got you in trouble the first time. You thinking that someone has something better than what you already have.
Companies upgrade even if they did not start out with something they eventually get it. It's just not a good feeling to leave something because you didn't think they didn't have something and then they end up getting it. You could even make suggestions. Companies love to hear suggestions. It helps them know what their customers want and keep them getting better. Also, it helps to remember all of the reasons you joined the company or bought the program in the first place. If you leave and go to something else the benefits that you were receiving from a certain product or program might not be the same. It's nothing like you think you are upgrading but you end up downgrading.
Another question is are you making any money yet? Why, would you leave something and go to something else when you haven't made any money with what you have? Your full concentration should be your primary business or program. If you can't focus on one how can you focus on another. Learn the ropes with what you are in now before you even think about jumping to something else. Why? Because you are losing both time and money and they are both too precious to lose.
Newer isn't always better. Just because a new company has just started out or a new program is on the market doesn't mean you have to join it. Who knows if it will even make it? What if you leave an established company or program only to find out it didn't make it? Then, you will be starting all over. Who wants to keep starting over and over again? There will always something new coming out. It doesn't mean you have to join it.
The price factor is another common denominator in a junkies life. It doesn't cost that much. Just because it doesn't cost that much doesn't mean you have to purchase it. It just keeps fueling the fire of a junkie. Oh, so you bought that program because the price was good? If that's the only reason you bought it then, you didn't need it in the first place. The question you should be asking yourself is how will it help me or my business? If you can't answer that question then no you don't need it.
This is the number one reason I think people end up becoming junkies. Is they think they will earn fast cash. The promise that they will make money quickly. How quick you earn money depends on your work effort. Joining a company or progam thinking you will hit it big overnight is definitely a big mistake. It will keep the junkie syndrome going on forever. Our aim is to stop it completely. So, never join a company or buy a program thinking you will make fast cash. It's just not going to happen. You will lose money that is all you will do.
It's easy to become a junkie. We are constantly being bombarded with something to buy. If we don't get a handle on it will become a disaster. In the end you will end up with nothing. You want to make money not end up bankrupt. This won't happen if you keep buying but are not doing anything because you are chasing the next big thing.
Did you find this helpful? Have you been a junkie? What was it that help you put an end to this junkie syndrome?
Do you know someone who is a network/internet marketing junkie? Do you think they need help? If you do share this blog post with them or even if you don't know a junkie and you liked it please share it. Thank you!

Getting traffic to your website is very important when it comes to doing internet marketing. I have read internet marketers doing many things when it comes to getting traffic to their websites but also individual affiliate or internet products. I, for one never put all of my eggs in one basket. I stand 100% by that rule. Since, seo has changed it is now more important than ever. I can honestly say I never mastered seo. So, when the rules changed I can't say that it really affected me, because it didn't. I was never following them anyway. I always concentrated on my content. So, when I heard other bloggers say that I could totally relate, because that was my thinking as well.
With that being said, it was still important for me to get traffic to my website. I wanted people to come to my website on their own but I also wanted to bring it to people who don't know it exists. It's a two way street for me. Just like all bloggers/internet marketers I want hits to certain blog posts that I have written and for products that I am promoting. I have read online the differences of ways to get traffic. Some people only praise search engine traffic. Don't get me wrong. That is a great way to get traffic but it's not the only way and as I said before the rules have changed. So, one way of getting traffic is just not practical anymore.
I have also listened to different bloggers/internet marketers say what works and what doesn't work. For a while I took that to heart but not anymore. I have been doing trial and error myself and am finding out what works and doesn't work for me. After all, what works for someone else might not work for you and vice versa. I also like to have fun in doing marketing and advertising. I like using different promotional tools because I find that it is fun and I get some results. What I have found out is everyone is doing their own thing or leans more towards one way than another.
Traffic also depends on what you are promoting. If you are only blogging and not doing any affiliate or internet marketing then, search engine traffic may be enough for you. However, if you are doing affiliate/internet marketing then it is most definitely not. All bloggers are not internet marketers and all internet marketers are not bloggers. I think it helps to be both but everyone doesn't like to write and there is no point of blogging if you don't like to write. You have to know what your strengths and weaknesses are. Otherwise, you just come off as a spam blogger. Who wants to be labeled as that?
You may or may not use these tools and resources and may disagree with the use of them altogether but as I always say you have to do what's best for you. So, there are no hard feelings if you don't use them but on the other hand you may just be on the curious side and want to try them out.
Freeadboards are a great way to get traffic. You can advertise for free but they do have upgrade options they are many times just a one-time fee and that's it. I wrote a blog post about them if you want to find out more about them read,"How Using Freeadboards Can Help You Get Targeted Free Traffic?" This is a great way to get traffic especially for your affiliate/internet marketing products. The sites are easy to use and have so many other tools to use too. They are fun to use.
Listbuilders or Safelists are a great way to get traffic. These too are more for affiliate/internet marketing products. They also have upgrade options. Some offer life time upgrades or monthly fees or both. Just check the upgrade options they will tell you what it costs to upgrade. You have to surf for credits and when you obtain a certain amount you can send out a mailing to all the members yourself. You can also promote the list builder yourself and earn referrals that will be in your downline and you can send out a mailing to them too. So, you can build a list yourself. This is another great way to get traffic. If you would like to know more about building a list and some listbuilders that can help you do that visit my resource page My resource page and go to Mary Anne Meyer sites a lot of her sites allow you to also build a list.
Banner Exchange or Banner advertising sites is another way to get traffic. These networks allow you to advertise your banners. They rotate throughout their network. You can advertise a specific amount of banners. Usually about five and if you want to advertise more you can upgrade. The internet is a huge place and there is a lot going on and many things to learn. Have you gotten caught up in the internet marketing whirl wind? Do you think that you are a good business partner or are you someone's worse nightmare? Are you the person that joins a business or internet marketing program and doesn't do anything? If the answer is,"Yes" then, you definitely have a problem. Why, are you joining businesses and not doing anything? There are many reasons why you could be doing this:
- You didn't realize how much work you would have to do.
- You don't understand the business fully.
- You don't have the time.
- It's not something that you really want to do.
- You need help.
- You thought it was going to help your previous business.
- You are an internet marketing program or business junkie.
- You are not consistent.
- The advertising told you, you didn't have to.
When you are learning about internet marketing you must remove easy and not having to work out of your vocabulary. Sadly, many people send the wrong message in their advertising. When you tell people that it is easy and they don't have to do anything that's the kind of people you will attract. People who will not do anything. You are selling a false reality. If people think they are joining a business that they don't have to do anything. You can imagine their surprise when they find out they do. Why? Because they are looking for something that they don't have to do anything. You told them that they didn't in your advertising. Now, they find out that's not true.
Okay, maybe you were a victim of false advertising but, "Come on!" Did you really expect to join a business and not do anything? There is nothing in life where you get paid for doing nothing. Besides, if the business you joined works on getting referrals you are doing an injustice to the person who you joined. There is nothing like having someone signup and then they don't do anything. It's one of the worst feelings to have in the internet marketing world. Even if you aren't in a referral marketing business it's still bad. Because you spent money on something that you are not putting any effort into and you won't see any results.
Before you join a business I suggest you go over all the details. Make sure you understand everything you need to know about it and ask yourself these questions:
- Will I like doing this?
- Is this something I think I can do?
- Do I have the time?
- Do I have the money to invest in it?
- Is help easily accessible?
- Will this help my previous business? (If this is something that could assist it)
- What ways will I promote this?
- Do I believe I will make money doing this?
- Will I be consistent?
This will be really helpful in helping you pick a business that is right for you, because when it's right for you, you will be more likely to succeed in it.
Another reason you are not doing anything is because you are in too many already. Read this blog post,"Do you have Internet Programs Overload?" Something is always going to be something that is promising you can make more money faster or easier. However, you can't join everything. It's important to know what you need and don't need. You will find that blog post very helpful and it can help you cure the internet/network marketing junkie syndrome or prevent you from getting it altogether.
There are so many things that you can do online but you have to find your niche and once you do you have to put time, effort and even some money into it. You can make money but you won't if you don't do anything.
Have you been guilty of signing up for internet businesses or programs and not doing anything? Do you know someone who does? Share this blog post with them. It might be just what they need to read.
