I don't want to pretend that I've personally tested everything when I haven't.

But I am interested in seeing what it can do, especially as someone who is building an online business and learning how to use AI more effectively.

And that's actually one of the things I like about being part of OLSP — we're continually being introduced to new tools and ways of doing things.

 

However, I saw no reason not to go ahead and share it with you.  Another thing I like about OLSP is the learn as you go format and this fits into that perfectly. 

 

With any automated tool I would advise you to use it wisely. You don't have to set it to send hundreds of messages a day. Start small and gradually work your way up.  Remember that it is a tool to assist you not take over your business and you will do just fine.

I know that I have been away. Honestly, I have been contemplating coming back for some time now, but I just kept putting it on the back burner.

The reason I stopped blogging in the first place was because I was having computer problems. I still need to get a new computer, but I found a way around the problem until I can get a new one—hopefully soon!

While I have been away, I’ve been doing some online marketing. I’m involved in a couple of businesses and, of course, affiliate marketing. I’ve mostly been spending a lot of time working on social media and learning more about online marketing.

I missed blogging, especially because I love writing. I also missed having a place that I could call my own. That’s what this blog is to me—my own special place where I can share my thoughts, experiences, and dreams.

Everyone wants to work from home, and today more people are doing it than ever before. Whether it’s a remote job, an online business, or a side hustle, working from home offers flexibility and freedom that many people want. However, working from home successfully still takes discipline, structure, and consistency.

 

Working from home is supposed to be better than working outside the home—mainly because you don’t have to leave home and you can set your own hours. Not having to fight traffic every morning or worry about being late are great benefits right there. However, just because you are working from home doesn’t mean that you are not working. Don’t get it confused.

 

I know that since you are working from home and no one is seeing you that it doesn't really matter what you are wearing. However, I think it is better to still get dressed. You can still be comfortable but put some clothes on and don't stay in your pajamas. The reason being is you want to be productive and sometimes when you are in your pajamas you tend to get lazy. It sets the tone that you are getting ready for bed. Which in fact, that is the opposite of what you are doing.

 

So get up shower and get dressed. Do everything that you would do if you are going out to work. The only difference is you now have more time to do it. Have a good breakfast. After that start your day. You can have a designated place to do your work. Such as a home office. If you have children or have company then this would be ideal. However, if you live alone or your children or in school it's nothing wrong with doing your work outside your home office. It can be relaxing to have a change of scenery. Having a mobile portable desk is great for your work days that you do your work outside of your home office.

 

It's also a great idea to let people know your work times. Especially, your friends and family. Many people feel that just because you work from home means you have a lot of free time and they assume that you aren't really working (which is so far from the truth). This will help you stay more focused and get more work done and have less interruptions. Be nice but firm. Not answering the phone or texting during your work times (unless it is extremely important) is a good idea.

 

 

Having a schedule is really great for working from home. Set your own hours. Whether it is early in the morning (I think this is the best time to work) afternoon, or evening. Whichever, is best for you. Stay consistent with your schedule. It can be tempting to veer off but stay steadfast. You will see improvement in your work and you will get things done. This is why many people don't work from home successfully, because they believe working from home means not working. You are working. You are just working from home. Many people can't separate the two. Don't be one of these people.

 

Take a lunch break. Eat lunch. Take a little walk or stretch your legs. As I said before the benefit of working from home is you don't have to rush. So, take your time.

Are you always losing your passwords? Do you have your passwords written on little pieces of paper that you have here, there and everywhere? Nowadays, you have to have passwords for everything and it can be hard to keep up with them all the time. How many times have you lost your passwords? Probably, too many times to count. I definitely know the feeling.

 

What is that darn password?

 

You have to make these passwords difficult too. With lower case letters, numbers and symbols. It's impossible to remember all of the passwords we have to make and it's getting bigger every moment. You need a password for everything these days. If I have to make one more password, I'm gonna scream! Go ahead and let it all out. Unfortunately, there seems to be no end in site.

 

How can you keep your passwords organized and safe and secure? A password book is a great way to do exactly just that. You can keep is somewhere safe offline. I don't know about you but I don't like to keep all of my passwords saved online. It just doesn't seem safe to me. Plus, I like to have something that I can have everything in one place. A password book is a great way to do that. I also like to have something that I can hold in my hands and write in. It feels more personal and private that way. 

 

Password books make great gifts. I know you know someone who also has problems keeping up with their passwords. This is a great gift to give to them.

  What is business bashing? Business bashing is when you talk negatively about a business. I am in a lot of business communities and groups. I noticed that a lot of people speak negatively about businesses. I find that to be a turnoff because, I join groups and communities for support. If a persons business is not illegal I think all community members should be supportive.

 

I see a lot of people bashing network marketing companies. A lot of people view them as pyramid schemes but that is not true. There are a lot of people who are successful with network marketing and is making good money. So, I don't think it is right for people to hold negative stereotypes about them. Some people don't promote them properly but you see that with a lot of online businesses not just network marketing. If they were not legitimate business opportunities you wouldn't see so many of them. So people are making money with them. I, myself think it's a good business opportunity.

 

We as online marketers we get a lot of flack for being independent business owners. A lot of people don't think you can make money online. We get this from friends, family and even strangers once they find out what you are doing to make money. I think it is very important for us to uplift each other. We need all the support we can get. It's hard to change your mindset if your own fellow marketers who are supposed to be supporting you are giving you the same old negative feedback you get from people who aren't involved in online marketing.

 

Why? Because we all need encouragement. It takes a lot of guts to keep going and to believe it can be done. The reality is you can make money online and be successful. So, we should encourage each other in any way we can. Don't become like the naysayers. Even if it is done jokingly. It's not funny. People join communities to get help. You are not helping if you are making people feel bad. That's not what a community is supposed to do. 

 

We are all learning. I know if you have a community or group you get tired of people coming in there trying to spam it to death. For some people they are feeling hopeless. So, that's like a last resort. Obviously, they don't know how to market properly. It's our job to help them learn. Hopefully, by being a member of your community they can learn what tips and tools they need to market properly. We all know having your own business takes a lot of work and it doesn't happen overnight.

 We are coming into the shopping frenzy months. This is the time of year people do a lot of shopping. It is also the time of year that crime is at an all time high. The most easiest crime to commit is online. This is where someone can steal your identity. This is very scary and if someone has stolen your identity you know what a mess it can cause. It also can take years to get it back. So, it's best to prevent this from happening the best way that you can. Doing business online is a convenience and you shouldn't be afraid to do your shopping or anything else that you do online. Here are some ways that you can protect yourself.

 

Always make sure to look at your bill carefully. This will help you know if there are some purchases on your account that you didn't make. No business would ever ask you for any personal information in an email. Also, don't click on any shady looking links. If you're not sure what it is and who it is from. Just delete it. It's better safe than sorry. Many times they could contain viruses and spyware. 

 

Have virus protection installed on your computer. There are many kinds you can get. Mcafee, Norton, Avg are just a few you can purchase for your computer. They cover the basics such as your email, web browsers and also when you visit different websites.

 

Avoid shopping at shady looking websites. If they don't have any kind of way that you can contact them. That is definitely a red flag. Don't use too many credit cards when you are shopping. Have a designated one you use. This way if someone does make unauthorized purchases on it you can easily pin point which one it is. Remember, time is of the essence when someone gets a hold of your credit card information.

 

Make sure that you use different passwords for different sites online. Never use the same password especially for any bank or credit card account. Use letters, numbers, symbols, capitol and lower case letters.

 

Your identity belongs to you and you do not deserve to have it stolen. Thieves do not have the right to steal it and ruin your good name and credit. Plus, just make life miserable for you.  Have you ever accidentally deleted a blog post? If you have you know how frustrating it can be. Especially, if it is a blog post that was popular with your readers. There is no need to go into panic mode. You can immediately go get it and copy and paste it right back into your blog. Triberr can help you do this. If you are not a member of Triberr I suggest you become one. It keeps all of your blog post in your, "My Posts" stream. This way you can retrieve and share them whenever you want to.

 

When you login to your Triberr account you will automatically see your stream. At the top you will see, "New Posts" click the downward arrow. Then you will see, "My Posts" click that and all of your blog post will come up. As you can see below in the picture of all of my previous blog posts that were written.

 

 

 

Now, if your blog post has been deleted you won't be able to click the url from your blog post to retrieve it. What you will have to do is click the arrow in the right corner of the square of your blog post in your Triberr My Post stream. Then, you will see, "Edit Post". Below it takes you to edit your blog post in your, "My Posts" stream. Below you are now in the edit format and can edit your blog post.

 

 

 

Instead of editing it you will retrieve your blog post by copying and pasting it into a new blog post. This is how you retrieve your blog post if you accidentally delete it. This is wonderful. This has saved me on numerous occasions. I had tried to retrieve my old blog post from other sources but it would only give me a certain amount. They were not saved like they are in Triberr in their own personal stream.

  With so much information coming at us these days it can be hard to digest it all. You read blog posts, news articles, forum posts and social media comments. That's not counting the books and magazines that you read daily. It can be quite overwhelming at times. However, I do think that you should take time to read anything that you attend to share on social media.

 

How do I know that people aren't reading what they share on their social media accounts? The reason that I know this is; I was letting someone guest post on my blog and I left it open so that they could post the content (You can do that with Ucoz). I had to eventually close it because someone else posted to my blog because I left it open (which was totally my fault). I was still upset though. Instead of a blog post they wrote two spam comments. Because I am a member of Triberr my blog posts stream from there when I write a new blog post. I noticed people had shared it. I was kind of disappointed because I did not want that shared. So, I knew that people couldn't have read it.

 

It is very important to read anything you attend to share on your social media accounts. You want to give your followers the best content and how can you be sure of that if you aren't reading it yourself? Just like in my case a mistake was made and people shared that mistake all over social media. Of course, I went back and deleted it but it shouldn't have been shared in the first place. I was hoping people would see that it was a mistake.
